Brit Milah

Here are some pictures from Matthew's bris.  He did great, what a champ!  Me, on the other hand, I was overwhelmed and very emotional.  No matter how many times you go through it (and for us this would make three), it never gets any easier.  It was a lovely ceremony, however, performed by an Orthodox Rabbi from Dallas.  We were surrounded by family and friends and overall the day was good.

Congratulations Ms. Piesman on your wonderful parental judgement. You didn't the anguish of your first or second son dissuade you in any way from having your third son's dick shortened, and you even felt it was appropriate to bring a first and second grader along so they can see that their newest brother will not have any more of a wiener than they do. I am happy to see parental instincts are sharp within the Jewish community.
One might think that skinning the penis of a wide-awake baby was child-abuse even if you didn't make your two others watch, but hell, it's okay because it's tradition.
Enjoy your scar Matthew.
