At the end of graduation, we had a reception where the kids pieces of art were on display. All year, they do a unit where they take one famous artist every 2 weeks and learn a bit about who they were, what kind of work they did, and then they get to emulate their work. Sam now knows who Van Gogh, Matisse, Pollack, Monet, Warhol and Picasso are, just to name a few. His "Starry Night" is an amazing replica!
