Stay-Cation

We spent a night in the Hill Country last month at the JW Marriott, a new resort about 20 minutes from our house. Despite its close location, you really get the sense that you are somewhere else. The boys (and Mike and I) had a great time going around the lazy river, going down waterslides, swimming in the beach pool, laying around. Lots of fun!

Buying School Supplies

Well, we were officially the first in line for school supplies at Target last month...obviously we were very excited to beat the rush.

Sea World Trip

I took the boys to Sea World last month, what a blast! They love the wave pool, which I refer to as the cesspool. We met some fun characters in the Elmo "Water" Park, but wouldn't you know it, the water stopped flowing prior to our arrival...drought is tough here in Texas.

Bike Parade

Here are the boys in the Deerfield Bike Parade. Next year we are definitely going to get a bit more into the bike decorating.

July 4th Parade

We had a lovely July 4th. When we woke up, we were feeling like pirates and when the bike parade arrived, we were feeling quite patriotic and decided to all dress in the same T-shirts. Go Piesman 4!
