Fiesta Texas

The kids went to Fiesta Texas during Michelle's visit. For those of you who are not aware, it is one of the largest Six Flags in the country and only 10 minutes from our house. With fond memories of Nantasket Beach and Paragon Park and screaming 'roller coaster' as we came around the bend, similarly, now as we drive down 1604, I can hear 'roro coatar' from Tyler as our nearby roller coaster comes into view. As you can see, most everyone loved the park, Tyler had to be extricated off a ride...but enjoyed something more his own speed later.

Far Outdated: Michelle and the Boys

Michelle came with Polina for a visit to San Antonio, long overdue. The boys just adored her, following her around, copying her every move and laughing with her non-stop. They continue to ask for Michelle'ka' even months after her visit. Come back again!

Tyler Singing in Hebrew

Well, first I asked Tyler to sing Happy Birthday as we had just had a small party for Michelle's 10th birthday, but he chose to shout out to Gema instead. And then he did a rendition of some of his favorite Hebrew tunes. I think he is destined to be a singer in the shower.

Tyler Singing in The Bath

Tyler took a solo bath the other day and really enjoyed himself. Here he is showing off some of his raw singing talent. Just so you know the playlist, we have: Twinkle, twinkle, then Row, Row, Row your Boat, and then Bila (a Spanish song about dancing and hands and arms and fingers). He is really a little rockstar.

Exotic Zoo visit

Here is a video of our Dec 31st outting to the Exotic Petting Zoo. We went on a 'safari' with some of our good friends and the kids got to feed the animals, including: bison, camels, deer, llamas, gazelles, oryx, zebra and lots more. We needed to watch them around those camels, however, as they definitely would have eaten the little ones.

Welcome to Polina and Michelle

Sam and I put together a homemade Welcome sign for Polina and Michelle today. Sam is great with his letters and wrote them all by himself and then decided to design them with different themes: stickers, tongue depressors, buttons, pipe cleaners and paint. It was a nice activity. It is 8 PM and we (Mike and I, the boys are fast asleep) are still awaiting their arrival, their plane has been delayed by over 2 hours! Can't wait to see them!

Tyler the EMT

Here is Tyler enjoying the lights and sirens in an ambulance at the Childrens Museum. He quickly was able to navigate all of the buttons inside, we think he has promise for a future career as an EMT, or at least an ambulance driver.
