Time with Obini

We loved taking Obi for walks and playing with Obi and lying with Obi and being licked and slobbered by Obi. Now all Sam can talk about is when we are going to get a dog, hmmm.....

Rosh Hashanah

We had some nice family time for Rosh Hashanah. We saw Robyn, Charlie, Jason, Alysha, Jon, Hannah, Gema, Grandpa, the Hechts, Cyn and Lee, Aunt Cecile and, of course, Obi. We ate so well, thanks to Gema and Grandpa, and really had a lovely time.

Welcome Baby Hannah!

We were so happy to meet Hannah, Jon and Alysha's newest addition. She was such a trooper, but not so sure she wanted to be held by her 3 boy cousins, can you blame her?

Fun in the Airport

Well, to get to Boston, it took us a total of 13 hours, given Tropical Storm Hermine which barreled down on South Texas for our departure. We ended up spending lots of time in the airport, and luckily the boys were really on their best behavior. Here you see them trying to phone a friend.

Sam's Breaststroke

Here is another stroke (along with the butterfly) that I didn't know Sam knew. Who knew? Really. He has the arms and legs down pat, but now just needs to do them together, great job, Sam. Summer Olympics 2026 here we come!

Sam's Freestyle

Sam is really working on the Australian crawl (breathing from both sides) here in San Antonio. He has come a long way with his kicks and his arm movements, now working on the breathing and trying to keep his body straight while his head moves to the side to breath. I was so impressed to see him during his lesson today.
