Sam is really enjoying himself this season. During last season, he spent a great deal of time hanging out in the goal, picking the grass. This year, he actually has gotten his foot on the ball many times and has even made a few goals.
Tyler has already started to make the moves on a younger woman, Samantha, that he refers to as, "Mantha". He is truly smitten, speaks about her when she is not around, pushes her when he sees her and makes her cry at every turn...true love!
Here you can see our little swimmers! As you can tell, Tyler wants to do everything that big brother Sam does. We need to really enforce the no diving rules again.
Here the boys are thrilled to have the same pajamas (thank you, mommy). Let's just say it was very difficult to get them out of their PJs that morning.
Well, it was a beautiful first weekend of May here in San Antonio. We went swimming and both Sam and Tyler have become very proficient at the sport. Sam can swim easily from one end of the pool to the other and Tyler loves to jump in, especially when no one is watching him! He is quite the daredevil. Here you can see some new water pistols that everyone enjoyed.
We completed our second annual Race for the Cure this weekend. Sam walked about 2 miles of the entire race and got a shoulder lift for the last mile and Tyler walked about 1 mile without even complaining! Our friend, Faye, who is still undergoing active breast cancer treatments was able to run and complete the race in record time! Go Team Faye!
We enjoyed some fiesta activities here in San Antonio and here you can see the royal 'family', filled with kings, queens, princes, princesses, and...Sam! This was really lots of fun and Sam got very into the king and queen sightings. Jon and Mike particularly liked the princesses as well!
